Wii Remote Hacks - Perspective Enhanced Gaming?

I was doing some searches on how people have been hacking the Nintendo Wii Remote, making use of the plethora of sensors it contains - an ADXL330 accelerometer 3-axis accelerometer, a PixArt optical sensor, allowing it to determine where the Wii Remote is pointing (senses infrared light sources like the Wii’s sensor bar).

Michael Voong is currently a second year Ph.D. student at the School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham under the supervision of Russell Beale.

His research interests are in HCI with a background in AI, currently focusing on dynamic personal social networks, location-aware mobile systems, blogging and urban atmospheres.
